SF Sin Chaos Plains Farm - Still possible? - Guild Wars Forums

Just came back from a long break. When I quit the chaos plains sf sin farm was the popular thing to do to earn money. Ursan was still popular.

So is the farm still possible / profitable?

Yes. You can still farm the Chaos plains, but don't forget, Shadow form is nefred. (Ursan also nerfed)

ectos only sell for 4k each,the farm takes twice as long,its not worth it IMO

The farm is longer because:

They nerfed Shadow Form

Mindblades are Ranged, Carry Hex Breaker and Have loads more hp

But I guess it is still possible, just probably takes too long for it to be worth it

Well, takes about an hour with sliver in hm and you get around 5-6 ectos a run. So that's more than 20k in ectos plus other drops. Other than running dungeons or farming holiday/nicholas items I'm not sure there are many ways to make money much faster.

there is another build that uses an essence, works great and i get around 5~8 ecto a run, half hour runs:

Join the Xunlai tournament house make your picks and sell your keys

I still think farming UW is probably the best money maker I ran a 6 hero team and me last night took 45 min got 4 ectos all from the same area and from terrorwebs

I rent other peoples heros for 500-1K
